Launching its trade life in 1953 with hardware group’s brushes, Elit Cosmetics Brush Industry maintains its activities by beginning hair brush production in the cosmetic sector since 2000. In 2004, completely directing towards cosmetics area the firm has become a sought-after and preferred brand with its Venüsline brand in both the domestic and foreign markets.
The firm’s Director General Mr. Ilyas Usgelen whom we took his views concerning the issue said that they were continuing the investments and technological infrastructure works despite the global crisis which has being experienced since the last quarter of 2008 and the would raise their production capacity three times from January 2009. He added that the continuing investments would contribute to the country’s economy and employment.
In Turkey, possessing a powerful market share especially in the coiffeur industry Venüsline brand is rapidly expanding its market share also in abroad thanks to its product kinds, quality and professional staff.
Indicating that they had doubled their exports figures in 2008 compared to 2007, the foreign trade official of the firm Fatma Sozer Inanoglu stated that they were opening to the markets of new countries with every passing day due to importing majority of the raw materials from Europe and catching a certain standard in quality. Remarking that they were continuously exporting to the countries such as Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Germany, Britain, the Netherlands, Georgia, Cyprus, Palestine, Algeria, Sweden, etc., Sozer Inanoglu recorded that their privileged objective was to enlarge in the European markets in 2009. In addition, indicating that they participated in all the cosmetics and beauty fairs held in Turkey, Inanoglu noted that they would also participate in the fairs abroad in 2009 and they would start with Cosmoprof 2009 fair to be held in Italy.
Lastly, the firm owner Hasan Feyzi Karakulak whom we got his views said, “We are very hopeful from the year 2009 and we believe that the year 2009 will be the year of Venüsline. We are awareness that the most effective way is to make exports in order to emerge from the crisis without seeing harm. For this, we are maintaining the brand investment with a decisiveness way that we made in the domestic market and abroad too. We believe that Venüsline brand will be the brand of those who prefer the high quality, for long years in both the home and abroad.”
